Dear Students,
We have been learning about EM Waves for a little over a week. I find that these types of waves are the hardest for students to learn and understand because we don't "see" them like other waves that we have been learning about. Often when I was learning in school and I had a difficult subject I would create shortcuts or learning tools that would help me learn things!
One of these is called a mnemonic device. What is a mnemonic device you say? It is a technique to help you remember things! For example the mnemonic word "HOMES" is used to tell the 5 Great Lakes; Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie, and Superior.
I am now asking for your help! I would like you to respond to my blog and my dilemma to help me remember the order of the EM Spectrum by creating (not Google searching) a mnemonic device? If you don't remember the order, I will list it for you below!
Thanks for your help!
Mrs. Dzubak
